so, my windows have never really rolled up as fast as they should have but i let it slide because it got the job done. the other day they stopped and they just would not roll down.the top one works good though. i took it to the shop and they said that the windows would have all stopped working if it was the motors, because they all work together.

so my ? is, what could it be? do i need to look at the wiring, get new motors, fuses? i just dont know.

I think if just one stopped working, maybe the wiring to that particular motor is disconnected.

Or actually I think if just one motor was burned out, that could explain why only one window stopped opening.

This is just my 2 cents. I'm not a mechanic. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)

Best of luck getting it repaired.

My dad has a Mitsubishi that this happened to, and he had to fully take apart the door and look inside, but couldn't fix it on his own. Instead of taking it in now (he doesn't have the money) he just stuffed a piece of cardboard in there to hold the window up. It had been stuck halfway down.

I suppose it's a good thing that you got yours stuck up instead of down. It makes it impossible to wash the car, or even leave it alone outside. You always have to worry about somebody deciding to reach in.

This has happened in my father's car and he was qouted a price of 250.00 to get it fixed. I am so sorry but I cannot remember exactly what the problem is. I will ask him later today and let you know.

This is just a thought, but you don't suppose it could be a blown fuse do you?

I've never driven a car full time with power windows, but my wife's car has them.

Good luck with it.
