Hello Group,

This is my first post. We have a 2001 CRV and the passenger's window
produces a high pitched whistling noise at 60mph or higher. Sounds
just like you have the window cracked just a little, so I know that
air is leaking somewhere. It has been worked on (2) times with no
luck. Tomorrow will make my third trip :-(

Does anyone out there know what it can be or have you had this
experience. I think it is either the rubber weather stripping or the
door is mis-aligned. Hopefully it will be fixed this time tomorrow.

Thanks for your input!

It happened on mine too. They changed the rubber that goes around the door.
It solved the problem right away. I hope your dealer is going to fix right
this time.

Just curious. You couldn't get your dealer to fix that "glossy black"
mirror thing. I would have been all over my dealer to fix that problem.
Oh by the way this last Saturday night I was a victim of vandalism and
now there's two major dents with a crease in both where some sob threw
what I believe was a beer bottle (found one near the car). Oh well...

Hopefully, the dents are in the doors or some other accessible area. The
paintless dent removal works well on creased dents, check your local area
for dealers. They use adjustable rods and tap out the dents from inside the
panels. It should look better, really exceptional on the car door dent
variety.

Get a MEAN Brush guard, so if the drunken offender stumbles accross the road
you will be prepared - JUST KIDDING.

It was bad enough to break the surface of the paint in the creases.
Looks like it may need some painting in those areas. And I was lucky to
have it happen on the driver's side door. Thank goodness I'm over my
new car owner attitude. A couple of months ago I would have been one
upset person. Still wasn't happy.
