I gather that the 99 CR-V has illumination on the main window control
panel. I am sure many 97 & 98 owners know how hard it is to see these
switches at night. Has anyone considered doing a retrofit of the 99 panel
into a 97/98 model ?

This seems like an awful lot of amount of work to add very little to the
CR-V. Finding the window switches should be a breeze if you are used to the
car, and use the large driver side window switch as a refernce point. If
you really wanted to do that, get some glow in the dark stickers.

What do you people think of the different pattern/texture on the seats? I
actually like my '98 design better.

That's a good idea. I would think there would be some wiring to run, it
would be a pain to get inside the dash without having to take a lot of
stuff off first.
