With regards to previous post as to what type of stereos we have in our CRV's:

I have a Sony 10 Pack Cd Changer with the Honda Stock Radio, and 2 12"
Kicker Woofers in a isoberic (sp?) box, powered by a 300 watt orion
amplifer (150 per channel, split out evenly to box), as well as a sound
filter, for no engine noise. My investment is protected by Viper (STAND
BACK! LOLOLOL)...I also replaced my stock speakers with infiniti's. Next
project is new rims and some exterior accesories, I plan on taking it to
shows sooner or later, but its still too new to put in shows (most shows
require the car to be at least 2 years old, mine is a 98 Supermarine Blue
Pearl). I was also thinking about getting a woofer custom built under the
table, however, I like my waterproof storage, I use it as a cooler when we
go to the beach!!!

As far as putting a CD changer in, all CRV's Honda Stock radios come CD
Changer compatible, so all you need is the changer and someone to install
it correctly. Hope that this helps.

I, too, have a 16 month old CRV EX. Still love it and I have decked it
out quite nicely. (Bosch fog lights, thule roof rack and thule bike
rack, surfboard pads, silver coating tint throughout to match vehicle,
ski attachments for the winter, and plenty of sporty stickers to give it
some attitude.) I, too, rev the hell out of the vehicle an I'm not
afraid to push it. These hondas perform nicely with some RPMs, so I
commend you on pushing yours too. I recently moved all of my closest
belongings with me from the beach when Hurricane Floyd teased us down
here in the Carolinas. Surprisingly, it fit everything from two TVs to
microwaves, 3 guitars, amplifiers, paintings. . . etc.) Great vehicle!
I'll keep it until I can afford the newer Land Rover Discoveries!!! LOL.
Keep truckin!!!

Here in Australia we have just had a reliability test done of over 40
vehicles by a top Consumer Magazine. Honda topped the list and Land Rover
came bottom. INTERESTING!! I have had absolutely no problems with my CRV
which I have had for 18 months. Anyone else?

As far as I know, the Honda is compatible with Alpine - because Alpine makes
Honda radios. I don't have the model number with me, but it was about 300
bucks. I don't see why it wouldn't work as long as there is the CD/Radio
selection. Also, make sure you don't get a RF CD player (RF defeats the
whole "digital" purpose of CD's). The Alpine is a direct hook up.

Correct, you MIGHT need an adapter to plug the changer to the head unit.
However, when we had our changer installed, we found the adapter in the back
seat after we drove home.... So, aparently, the adapter is not needed - but
don't quote me on that, I don't know for sure.

not "unsubscribes" just unsubscribe - no S. In the subject line, not the
body. We can't do it. You have to do it yourself.
