I have a 93 Civic EX coupe with a 5 speed and stock 1.6L multiport FI motor (non-VTEC). It seems too slow coming off the line in first gear as I don't seem to be moving with any speed until I shift at around 4000-4500 rpm, and even then people behind me from a stop (probably in automatic cars) are right up my tail. From 2nd to 5th gear, everything seems to be pulling pretty strong at speed. Does my clutch or transmission need work, or does anyone have any ideas, including how I can improve this performance without having to get into the tranny? Please e-mail me at NGORL@... or post back. Thanks in advance.
