I've 1998 Honda Accord EX-V6 and it has 177,000 miles. When I accerlate, it will make whistling noise from passenger side of engine. It will increase with incresing rpm. When I'm driving and notice the noise, I would shift the gear into neutral and the noise seems to be subsiding. When I turn on the engine the noise seems to be at the minimum level. Raving the engine(increasing the rpm) increases the noise. It also makes repeating ticking noise. I've change the timing belt and water pump at 90,000 miles. When I change these parts the parts look fairly brand new. I've not adjusted valves yet. Some people metion it might be bearing on pully, and other said timing belt problem. Help.
Thanks.
