I own a 1998 CRV LX. I'd like to get the repair manual for it but my dealer
has to order it. Is there a way to buy it direct?

Jake, the manuals can be bought direct through Helm Inc, which is the
publisher for the books.

YOu can get to the site via "Under the Hood"

http://members.xoom.com/crvix/underhood.htm

Choose Honda as your car and it will give you a query page with the list
of model years.

Try honda.com maybe they sell it.
