My wife just called and said she was stuck in our driveway. So I
drove our 99 honda civic over to see what's the matter. The check
engine light is one. The car seems to have power in reverse but
nothing in forward/drive. I get rpms and strong revving but very
spotty movement. We have had our first "freeze" of the year
overnight so maybe something needs to "work itself free" but my
thought was one of three things:

1. Catalytic Converter- maybe plugged?

2. Parking Brake frozen?

3. Transmission is failing

Any guesses?

Thanks,

Chris

My vote is for the frozen parking brake, possibly the cable.
