im looking for a turbo kit for my prelude but i only have a 2ltr and not a vtec but theres so many different engines im reading bout like h22 h22a and all that i dont wanna get the wrong one

If it's a 4th Gen Lude then you won't find a kit as one isn't made, your engine is an F20A4 - Something only used in Europe so after market parts are few and far between. Thats not to say you can't put a turbo on it, but it will cost you as you will need to do the following - - Custom Exhaust Manifold (The manifold is different from the H22 engines). - Piggy Back ECU Chip to control the extra fuel required. - additional fueling, normally a 5th injector on the fuel rail. - then the turbo and it's bits! (Inc. taking a tap off the oil supply) It's a lot of work for not a huge amount of power gain - To be honest you'd be better off sourcing a decent 2.2i VTEC engine and doing a swap - you can literally take the old one out put the new one in, use the ECU from a VTEC and add 4 extra wires and there you go - 200BHP for about ?1000 - ?1500.

i cant insure a vtec as there imports, didnt realise a vtec engine would go straight in 2ltr, thought all the driveshaft and clutch would need changing to acompany the extra power, not sure wether a vtec engine in a uk car would work with the insurance id have to ask, if im lucky enough to find a bined vtec (rear end jobbie) id be able to buy that and take the engine out, its a 4th gen btw yeah
