Try checking your intake system. There might be something wrong with it, that's causing your car to stall.

mufflerswhat do you know its raining today and the van is acting up.
My wife drove the van to work this morning (not raining). when she left it was during an hour long Deluge. she tried to start the vehicle and started right up but if you remove your foot off the gas idle will drop to 0 and stall, but will start right back up and do the same. My dad was able to drive it (with it stalling a few times on the way) to my garage and they are looking at it now. It does not run rough like it is missing. hmmmm
I called my dealer this morning as well. I had a tune up 12/08 so wires and plusgs are new. And the ingnition switch Recall does not pertain to my 99. (she made certain to tell me that it was a service bulliten and not a recall)
the honda dealer tried the garden hose technique to soak the engine but could not recreate the problem. Hopefully my othrer garage can find something out today.
Thomatt12: By intake I assume you mean air intake....
Some of my theories so far:
1. Check on the ignition switch recall (if the van starts properly would the ignition switch affect the wild rough idle)
2. Bad spark plug, coil pack, or wire. I think I had a full tune up recently i need to check my records maybey i got some faulty parts.
3. How would a Power Steering pressure sensor affect the idleing and stalling.
What if water gets into the idle control valve?
