So, it rained and my car got flooded...not bad. There was a little water in the passanger side...Myabe and inche of water due to the slopping of the street. So, I start my car and drive it out of the water. When I turn around the car shuts off. WHen I turn the key it would kick but not turn over. Than it completely went silent. No noice. Pep Boys said it could be a flooded engine. Than they found that it was the ECU computer on the passanger side floor board and it was fried. They did test to come to this conclusion. They wanted 1300 or so for the part. I said I will do this on my own. HAs anyone had this problem? The connective wiring in the ECU and the ECU airbag(i can give a crap about) is wet. Maybe the inside too, not sure. Does this sound familiar to anyone. Need to get this car kicking again ASAP

much love,

Kalnas

Thanks for the info. It's funny. Everywhere I looked wanted alot of money. But there is one benefit in living in New Jersey. CAMDEN!!!! My father found the parts for $50 and is shooting them up to me this weekend. I really hope this is the problem. I hope it's not a flooded engine. If the ECU did fry than would there be any other things connected to it that could have went out? The Fuses are all intact and good. So, hopefully its' just the computers.

Thanks again!
