Does anyone in the club have any news on the new Honda VTEC-i engine?? It is scheduled to appear on the 2001 Accord. No word if the US will get the engine. Speculation is that it may appear in 2003.

The only information I got was that it would produce more hps and better mpg than the previous VTECs

i heard it will have variable cam gears,which will suposedly add 20lb-ft across the board,and that the first engine with vtec-i will be a 2.2L over bored version of the s2000 2.0L,and will be in next accord and integra/prelude that will suposedly merge as one model.
