I don't know if anybody has talked about this as I am A
new member. but honda says 105k on valve adj. I recommend 30k.
my honda tech friend says he sees a few cr-v's with
burnt valve problems at about 90k as the valves on this model
have a tendecy to tighten up. valve adjustments are cheaper than
valve jobs.

My 2000 Ex "V" valves tighten up at about 37,000 and I needed a valve job. Techs
say that when they assembled it in Japan that it was overtightened. Good thing I
bought the extra warrantee. I would have cost me a couple of hundred to fix.
Make sure you have them check it when you get your "V" serviced.
I love my "V" so much I was able to convince 2 of my friends to get one.
