Hey all,

I was wondering if honda has used differnt speakers between the 98 and 01.. I
know they changed the stereo. its sounds horrible.. I was
thinking about getting a used 98 stereo (refering to the stereo with cd
player).. some friends have changed the stereos in their cars (not
hondas) and said it makes a differnce?

I ask this b/c the 98 used to "bump" a little and this one just distorts and
rattles (i know i have not blown the speakers., yet (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
any backround? or suggestions.

im also the teenage son.. i like the car for other reasons than the speakers
(the 98 was awsome inthe winter)..

it might be the door.. it seems ot be lower bass. b/c normal sound (nothing that
thumps) sounds good..

I will check it out tonight
