hey again.

I need to get a car home.. it has a chance of not going (fuel line problems).. I
was wondering if I could use my V to pull it..

It has that little loop in the back.. was thinking of using that.. the distance
would be short, and the speed would have to be slow..

Now if this works.. should i leave the overdrive on or off? (the little button
on the shifter)

Thanks again

For your information... I pulled my GrandFather's Dodge RAM out of a snow
pile last winter after he got stuck trying to plow his driveway. Made me
feel good! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I would do it & yes leave the O/D off of course you might not be going that
fast for it to kick in.
Good Luck

If you're using the "loop" on the back of the CR-V, then you should
NEVER be going a speed where it would kick into 4th (O/D) gear!!!

If you're going that fast, then you need to put a hitch on there, and
put the other vehicle on a trailer.

You didn't say what the vehicle is, nor the distance to be traveled.
"Short" is a relative term. On a typical weekend I will probably cover
anywhere from 500-1000 miles, depending on what's happening. I drive 30
miles one-way to work.

I towed my CRX a "short" distance to my parents house..... just 300
miles each way.

Using the tow hook on the back, I wouldn't think of anything more than a
mile!!!!

YMMV
