Drives: prelude,1992,2.3l
hi, i just bought a prelude 92 si 2.3L. my problem is its a hard to start, when is started the idle shoot up to 5000rpm and come back down to 1500rpm and after that the idle keep going up and down from 1500rpm & 3000rpm it will on stop when i step to the gas pedal hard. this unstable idle is happening to even im driving esp in the traffic. please help me out on this......

Check your TPS and your Idle Air Control Valve.

oh sure it stands for Throttle Postion Sensor.
