We have a 2007 Ridgeline RTX with the towing package installed. We are looking at buying a travel trailer that has an unloaded weight of 4,300 lbs. It is a dual axle trailer and we are having electric brake controller installed plus anti sway and stabilizer bars. I believe the towing package comes with transmission cooler. I know the GVWR is 5,000 lbs but I might exceed this a little when we put gear and stuff in. Should I be too concerned?

No, this shouldn't be a problem as it is a limit set extra low so that you would take precautions and wouldn't put too much over than that. It is kind of like when a computer desk says the max is 50lbs but it can actually hold 150lbs, that way the supplier isn't responsible for any damages or losses if it breaks.

The only thing you might notice is uphill it might go slow but I doubt that will even happen anymore than it normally would.
