I recently banged up my left passenger door while backing out of a driveway. It was open and it got caught on the wall and I took it to the shop to fix it. They bent most of the metal back together and it works fine now. The problem is, that there is a line of chipped and scratched paint running down the door about 3 inches long and 1 inch wide. The paint is not totally chipped off, its sort of in pieces. I was wondering what i could do. I've looked up touch up paint, but i was wondering if i need to remove it and prime it, then paint it, and clear coat it, or if i can just paint it. Any suggestions will be of great value.
