I need help with shutting off/disabling this rear hatch light.
I like to leave my hatch open in the driveway because the dog likes to sit in there,
and most importantly, I often work out of my car with the hatch open,
and don't want to run the battery down.....

There doesn't seem to be any simple way to get it open and remove the bulb....

Any thoughts Honda Fit experts?!! Pull a fuse, pry it open with a screwdriver??

Have you tried using a screwdriver to get out the bulb in the hatch? It probably needs a small screwdriver. Or maybe there are places where you can pry it open. It's a small place to get to. Don't they have screwdrivers for glasses etc. I used to have a small set of screwdrivers I used for jewelry and glasses.

most times there a lil basicaly button like thing on the frame and when u push it in it thinks the hatch is closed and light goes out, find it figure out a way to jame it in and ur good to go
