Hey, I'm 16 and i got my license 3 months ago, and my older sister went off to college so i got her car, a 96 civic ex. So of course i had to put on the 17inch chrome rims and the catback exhaust and all that to make the car look and sound awesome, but I attract nad attention as well...from cops! ive gotten two tickets in 3 months, one for speeding (50 in a 40) and the other one for changing two lanes with one signal. How do you all deal with cops with your civics cuz I can't keep them off me!

Not sure what to tell you mayatoby... One the Exhaust is the one thing that police officers look for. specially since the HIT movie FAST N FURIOUS was a hit.. I dont have a flashy car and no loud exhaust but It has the second offence Stickers... SO I'm going stealth but for you Just stay cool and watch your mirrors. Being a ( typical male here ) I would think since your a female the reason shouldnt be ( he's a cop with a point to prove to the young punk in a nice ride tring to prove something ) I would think your just to good looking to pass up on taking a look at... :)

Well, first off, you gotta be more careful. You fix up you're civic, you're gonna attract attention. That's what fixing it up is all about isn't it? Don't you think that a fixed up civic is going to be more noticable than a stationwagon when changing lanes?
