Greetings, if you are installing Thule roof racks to a 2002 CR-V, then I
have a suggestion (or two)...

First, believe Thule when they say that "Screws could be difficult to
tighten..." when attaching the track to the CR-V fixed points.

In fact, they are VERY difficult to tighten without STRIPPING the HEX head
of the screw. I had to drill out and replace 3 of 8 screws. Not fun!
Fortunately the extractor I was using worked out very well...

I'd recommend completely cleaning the Thule screws of any (paint) residue
before trying to use them OR replacing them with Phillips-head screws.
I was fortunately in getting what I needed (the screws are metric) this
afternoon at Canadian Tire.

I'm taking a break now before starting the next stage of the installation.
Hopefully there will be no more unpleasant surprises... good luck!

cheers, Stephen
