Bushins aren't your answer if your planning on
getting aftermarket ones. Typically, those are constucted
of a harder durometer than the OEM ones. In laymans
terms, it'll make your suspension more
harsh.

Personally, I've got a set of the Tokico non-adj (blues) with
a Eibach Pro-Kits. While, I would agree that the
ride is a little harsh. I would hardly call it
unbearable. And I live in Chicago, which is only slightly
better than Detroit in ther number and severity of
potholes. Of course, you have to anticipate this kind of
ride degradation if you want a better handling car
(mostly).

You didn't say what size or kind of tire your
running. I'm using Bridgestone RE 730s on 95 GSR wheels. I
keep them at 35 psi in front and 32 psi in the rear. A
little higher when I'm racing. I suspect your larger
wheel, maybe 16s or 17s or a higher air pressure. Both
of these can have an adverse result on ride
comfort.

HTH
Mike
