I need to replace the struts on my '97 'v.

My local repair place is recommending KYB Struts over OEM. Anyone know
anything about these? Any other options? I'm told Monroe doesn't make struts
for a '97, does anyone else make them?. The price quote I got for these
struts was $95.99/each plus install (approx $200 including alignment). This
sound like a good deal?

Thanks,

Geoff

i heard kybs are not as good as tokikos. i prefer tokikos over kyb. i
have them for the past 30k miles and been flawless. if you have the
dough, get the bilsteins or konis. they should improve your handling a
lot more. check out www.shox.com, they will give you good advice (they
dont carry tokikos though). install should only cost around $100 for all
four. $200 for 1 shock is too much. the cheapest tokikos i found is
around $75. shop around.....
