We just bought a 2002 TL w/o navi (black/parchment). We love it and look forward to getting many years out of it. I just joined the club and noticed that price was often discussed. We paid 28,000 plus 150 to ship it from a dealer in houston to dallas. <br><br>Anyway, we have noticed a clicking noise coming from the radio while driving. It soounds almost like a relay or something. Has anyone else had similar problems or thoughts on this?

I just recently purchased a 2002 TL Type S and noticed the same thing. I was able to pinpoint my issue back to my cell phone. When my cell phone is first turned on, it appears to emit some RF frequency that the radio is picking up. It also appears to happen when the phone rings. My phone is a NEXTEL. Not sure that there is much you can do about it.

Very observant. You may be correct.<br><br>I sold my 1999 TL a while back but when my AT&T phone (Nokia 6162 *and* Mitsubishi T250) receives text messages and is near the speakers on my desk at work, the speakers emit clicking sounds.

Thanks for all your help. I checked here and acura-tl.com (per Diego Import Racer) and everyone agrees that it is the cell phone. Especially if you put the phone in the cubby hole under the radio. Thanks again for the help!
