A: Why do so many people dislike having the spare tire on the back? It's much
more accessible when you need it, or to check the air pressure. No crawling
under the vehicle to retreive it. Plus, you dont have to put the dirty flat
inside the car.
B: A note to everyone...Get rid if your tire covers. I see so many postings
asking about hard covers, etc. Waste of money. I took ours off and will never
use it again.
Now I dont skip checking the tire pressure regularly (how many of you check it
on a regular basis?), and the tire stays much cleaner, and doesn't rot.
The covers just collect dirt, which eats the rubber, and washing the car doesn't
include washing the spare when it's covered. It also looks more aggressive with
the tire exposed. Spare tire covers are for wimps.
