anyone have pictures showing the an 88 civic si engine? i need to see

What writing do you have on the engine cover. There is also a stamp on the engine block, as you stand in front the car, look just left of the exhaust pipes leading out of the engine to under the car. There is a square flat place on the engine block itself with something engraved on it. If it is dirty you may need to clean it. If it is hardly visible even when cleaned, colour it with chalk then wipe it with your finger or a dry clothe, the engraved parts should have chalk in it, see if you recognise the letters/numbers.
