I've had my S2000 for about a week now. I love the car, but the seat is constructed in a way that is doing number on my back. I was planning on eventually installing a competition seat anyway, but it looks like I'm going to need to go ahead and do it now. I've gone on the web searching Recaro, Sparco, Momo, etc. Saw some nice seats, but it's tough to make a purchase without trying them. I'm looking for something that is more comfortable than stock, has decent bolstering and can run a harness for Auto crossing and eventually T2. Any suggestions would really be appreciated. Thanks, Mark Wood

give it a couple weeks for your body to adjust. at first the tight suspension and seat made my neck sore. no problems for a year and a half once I adjusted to it. -Chris

Try sticking a small amount of cloth in the small of your back by sticking it between the foam backing and the inner part of the seat.  It pulls out and you can try and reach in there.  Don't pull to hard and use 2 hands to reach in from each side.  Play around and I found this to help me enormously on long trips!  It was a 1' by 1' cloth and I think used 1/3 of it.

I'm not sure where it comes from, but I do have a rattling sound coming from the back seat area on my 1.6EL, the "rattle" that's really bothering me is the one coming from my sunroof, has anyone else had this problem? If so, what did you do about it? Has anyone had "pinging" sounds come from their engine while going up hills? I"ve tried using a better grade of gas and it seems to help remedy this problem. Feedback please...so far these are the only complaints I have about my 99 1.6EL, otherwise a thouroughly enjoyable car to drive and own. Lorne Miller in Victoria , feel free to E-mail me at lajm@...

I also have a slight rattle coming from my sunroof. What I find helps is to pull the moonroof (the cover over the sunroof) forward just a bit. That seems to help.

I use what the Acura owner's manual and dealer said to use, good old, cheaper regular...but it seems to be causing some knocking, so I've been trying the next grade up and it has lessened the "pinging".

I have a 98, No problems with any rattles, but one of the plastic clips holders that keeps the rods in place behind the seats broke, doesn't rattle though.
