Hello, I have a 2000 CR-V that has ran perfect since the day we got it 2 years ago. All of a sudden a few weeks ago it started running rough with no power, runs hot and the AC quites blowing cold air when driving up moderate size hills. It never reaches the red line but it makes me nervous. I took it to the dealership and they talked me into replacing the distributor, getting a tune up and flushing the transmission. I had the 115,ooo mile service done at this dealership in April. It runs smooth and had power now, but it still gets hot and the AC puts out warm air uphill. It has been over 105 degrees most days here lately. Is the car just not made for the heat? It does it in the afternoon when it is hottest.
