I have a '98 CRV and I am finally getting around to upgrading it a
bit. I was woncdering if anyone had any suggestsions regarding the
following:

1)Roof Rack
I want a utilty rack for the roof. I passed on the factory luggage
rack so I am not looking for the type that attaches to it. I mainly
want the ability to put building materials on the roof although a
multi-purpose system would be nice. I want to spend less than $200.
Any ideas?

2)Wiring kit
Even though I got a used Honda CD/radio the connector on the back
does not match the existing connector. I know I could cut off the
existing connector but I have heard there are wiring kits that would
plug into the existing connector and terminate in bare wires. Also, I
would think since Honda made the change in connectors, there should
be a Honda part that converts between the two. I tried the local
Honda dealer but they said they did not have such a thing.

Thanks!

Stan

Roof Rack: Honda. Although it is "limited" by Honda to only 75 pounds,
that is probably for "center of gravity" concerns of the manufacturer
rather than a true functional limit. Check one of the links I sent out
in an email to the group last week for great on-line prices on genuine
Honda accessories.

As to hooking up your radio: www.crutchfield.com for all your needs.
They will have a radio that is just right as well as the proper
adapter to hook into your existing harness. They might also have a
connector for your exact hook-up needs.
