I am looking for comments about people's experiences with replacement
tires. The tires on our 1997 CRV need to be replaced and I am not
sure if I should install passenger tires or light truck tires.

I recently installed Yokahama's Avid Touriing tires on
my '98 CRV and love them!

Great wet traction.....

Also have to say that tirerack.com was an excellent
experience for me.

We replaced our 99 CRV's tires with the Yokohama Avid T4 from Tire Rack.
They performed great. Quieter, better ride, and better grip than the
factory Bridgestones. Id rate them excellent in the wet as well. I
don't think they ever saw snow, but Id think they would perform quite
well in that too.

Also, a big thumbs up to Tire Rack from us as well.
