I'm posting this note for informational purposes. I've read other
messages with this problem and want to share that I had the same at
30,000 miles. There was a whining noise from what sounded like the
front but was really in the rear differntial. This only happened on
hard right and left turns. The mechanic told me he had a CRV with the
same problem a couple weeks ago and that is why they knew the cause.
After replacing the differntial fluid the problem is gone.
