okay, so my steering has been squeeking every time i turn the wheel, and sometimes even when i am accelerating from first. I tried to find a gease fitting for the rack and pinion but i could not find any. I noticed a small tear in the driverside boot on the cv axle so i shot some greese up in there. The damn thing still squeeks. Im not sure what the hell the problem is, but i know someone who had t he exact same squeeking noise in her 19 civic as well.

And the power steering feels really really stiff as well, pretty much like there is no ps. I checked the fluid and it is full.
I was thinking the ps pump might be bad.

Any suggestions on what it could be, or has anyone had this problem and fixed it?
its begining to annoy me beyond control and the factory speakers are rotted out so i cant even turn up the music to drown it out.

please help any way you can
thanks!

o and by the way, factory speakers in the 92-95 civic ex are 6'' front and back right?

thanks alot guys

the speakers are dif front to rear i cant remember which they are i think the front a 5 and the rear are 6 o somethin like that i will measure mine and let you know your steering shouldnt be stiff i run with no ps and my isnt stiff at all im not sure where you noise is coming from it wouldnt be your cv if it was bad it would click but a ripeed boot isnt good either.

I would think that it might be the power steering pump myself. I don't get what you mean by you run with no power steering fluid and it is not hard to steer? I just thought that it would be hard to steer if there is no fluid. Or maybe that is just the cars I have had?
