HI all I'm putting 17" Civic Type R rims on my 5th Gen Vti and still am not sure of what tyre size to go for, between 215/40's or 215/45's Any of you running the Factory 17" Motegi rims, if so what size tyre do they come with as standard ? Thanks Guys PS If anyone is interested I would be willing to sell my 16" standard Prelude wheels, all 4 shod with excellent Continental Sport Contact tyres. For my new tyres I am thinking about going with Pirelli P6000's or Goodyear Eagle F!'s, what do you reckon ? Also anyone running Nankangs, I have no idea what they are like but I can get them new for less than ?200 for the 4, I know they are sheap but are the any good, Thats the question I am asking myself

I'm running 215/45's (on Boss XTS), Standard spring height means that these fill the wheel arch much better that 40's - the only issue I had when doing this is that the rear bumper rubbed on the outter wall of the rear tyres when fully loaded going round corners (fine in a straight line). Easily overcome by cutting about 1cm of plastic off the bumper (in the area where the end bolt hole holds the plastic to the metal - not even visible). Hope this helps.
