I'm a proud owner of a Milano Red CR-V for a short week now.

When I bought "Ruby", the only accessory I asked the dealer to install was a
powered moonroof. He will be installing my ASC sunroof next week. It will be
$1100 out-the-door, with a lifetime function and parts warranty, as well as
a three year warranty on the labor.

ASC was the company that produced the convertible option of the 1992-1994
Nissan 240sx convertible (I OWN ONE). They also have been the producer of
the Ford Mustang convertible for many years. The inside driver's door
identifies ASC as the convertible installer for these cars. THESE
CONVERSIONS ARE NOT CONSIDERED AFTERMARKET !

ASC is a respected manufacturer, quality mechanisms, extremely reliable, I
believe you will be very happy with the ASC moonroof.

Yes, Saltman, I'd agree that ASC is "not considered aftermarket."

I sent the "aftermarket" URL to the group because that page appeared more
informative on the product.

ASC does seem to be the (a) major leader in the market, so I was well
pleased that that was the brand my dealer was having installed.

I got my first "through the mail from the Web" box of CR-V accessories on
Friday, including the locking wheel lugs, front mud guards, and passenger
arm rest.

The Web prices for CR-V accessories are unbelievable! My local dealer wanted
$66.00 (including my "did you buy the CR-V here" discount) for a set of
locking lugs. I was able to get them over the Web for $22.40 (including free
shipping) from www.hondapartsforyou.com !
