Hello All:

I am considering trading my antique Pathfinder in on a 2002 CR-V. My
only concern is that I sometimes need to transport 4x8 sheets of
plywood. Is this possible with a side-swinging door? A lift-gate can
simply be left open a little.

Thanks,

Paul

I've carried a large couch to an upholstery shop and back in my CR-V
with some "wiggling", and bungee cords!

I'm not sure about the width of the rear window opening, but I suspect this
would be the widest part of the rear opening. Then you'd just leave the back
window open and slide the sheets in.

Wayne: This would probably work fine. I am looking forward to
measuring the width of the 2002 back window. How wide is the current
model's window? I'm afraid the new one might be narrower because it
looks like the door frame surrounds it.

Paul,

If you get the roof racks, you can put the plywood on the roof, and hauling it wouldn't be a problem at all.
