There are a few web sites with information on the pilot. It has been shown at both the Detroit and Chicago auto shows. I saw it in Chicago. It is a slightly longer MDX, with second and third row seats that fold 1/3 - 2/3. The third row does not look any wider than the MDX, (might be an inch or two) but has belts and head rests for three instead of two. The styling is like a mixture between 1st and 2nd gen CRV, pumped up to MDX size. The interior is like the MDX in layout with a center console rather than the CRV/Odyssey pass-through. The engine and trans are MDX/Odssey, and 4WD system is MDX. The dash looked very Honda. Official word (as given to me by the know nothing at the show) is June availability (probably somewhat limited as they ramp up). He said more info would be available late April, when they finish the vehicles for the press to test. Looks like my next car, should go nice next to the '02 CRV. (OK, my wife actually gets the Pilot, and I get the CRV hand-me-down)

Sorry, Not trading the 2002 CR-V. The Pilot will replace my Dodge Intrepid. Well not realy, the CRV replaced my Dodge, but we sold the my wife's Range Rver first. So she got the CR-V, and I keep driving the Dodge. When the Pilot comes in we will sell the Dodge, and my wife will get the Pilot, and I get the slightly used CR-V. And, yes, if you must ask, she is spoiled!

You forgot, if she is happy, YOU are happy! My brother in-law is tearing out the bathroom today, a complete remodel from the floor up. It is the second bathroom remodel in two months. He needs to cancel the magazine subscriptions where she says "I want this in our home" - laugh. SALTMAN
