Remove picnic table or live with it. I am sure glad I dedcided to keep my
2000 CR-V and not buy a 2002 model. It sure sound like people are having
more problems with them or do they just need something to talk about. How do
I unsubscribe form this rediculous chat group.

It's not worth unsubscribing to the group Richard. Humans by nature
bitch, moan and complain every chance they get. If you leave the group
it's because you have a complaint about it. Have faith it's an ok
group. The other group(s) probably won't be any better. Our 2000s may
be antiquated but their damn good. Still like the old style body
better.

right on. I didn't join to sit around and agree with a bunch of people
about how great the CRV is(okay, maybe a little), I joined to find out about
problems and resolutions. No vehicle is perfect, and a new generation is
sure to have a couple minor bugs. I wish I could drive a pre-'02 to compare
the two, as owners of both eras seem to like theirs better. That's a good
thing, right?

The front treatment on the new V is debatable, but the back of the '02 is
pretty sharp compared to the old. Especially since that's all you'll be
seeing! hahahaha, just kidding, don't get excited people ;-) Larry,

Hay Eric, I don't eat wheaties. I just get tired of reading about peoples
petty problems. Go back to the dealer and complain. Use this chat group for
more important information like tire pressures car care suggestions etc.
that will benefit most.

Amen, the oldewr style, pre-2002 does liik better. And according to reports
from 2002 owners ours is functionally better. Havn't had one thing wrong
with mine since new (two years old now).

By functionally better, do you mean slower, able to tow less, and smaller?

Still able to get up to highway speeds and faster in plenty of time, didn't
plan on towing anything (if I had I would have bought a full size truck) and
able to park in the compact size parking spaces. Also gets better gas
milage. When the price hits $2.00 a gal. who will be laughing.

I guess we'll both be laughing, as we are both happy with our choices.
Ain't that great? - Larry

Hay Richard (Freudian Slip?), if you ate more wheaties you may avoid
getting the S.O.L.'s and posting rude messages on this board. Every
member of this group has the right to enquire as to whether other
owners of '02 CRVs are getting rattles from their picnic tables. I
know that I am, and one day I am going to pack it with thin sponge
rubber. What might be inconsequential to you could be helpful to
hundreds of other owners. Happy bitching! -
