Hi all,

it seems I have gotten into some disagreement with some fellow CRV
owners over the petrol consumption for the 1999 automatic model.

I get less than 10 litres per 100 Km on highway driving at 140km+,
and anything between 11 and 12.5 lt/100km on urban crawl. I am soft
on the pedal, particularly in the city (can't help it anyway in a
traffic jam!).

Other CRV owners say these consumption values are too low to be true.
Can anyone contribute their own consumption calculations?

the 97 gets approx 14L/100km mixed. i think it once got 11.3L/100km all hwy
after a tune up and a new k&n filter. and that was at 120km/h. my best in the
tdi was mostly highway at 130km/h 4.3L/100km. that's before i modded it too.
but now i'm mostly city(90%) and i race a lot so it's down to 5.2L/100km. she
won't let me put a tdi into the 'v though. said it's too much trouble and
money. but i could learn a lot from it! and maybe convert others for profit!
