Well I'm curious if you think the Apex S-AFC might have any big gains for a 2001 Solara 4cyl auto? Only performance mods I have are a TRD air filter and a OBX generic muffler. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

S-AFCs would benefit cars with an S/C or Turbo. It wouldn't do much for a naturally aspirated car..especially the 5s-FE and in auto. Sorry.

I would stay away from JET V-Force products. We've had a member who's ECU was fried because of that unit. Unfortunately, Toyota warranty didn't cover the damage...so he paid for a new ECU out of his own pocket. Any piggy back system that alters the ECU is a NO NO...especially with Toyota electronics. The safe ones are units like the Apex'i S-AFC and etc.

Good Luck!
Ryan
TeamSC?-Founding Member
Southern/Northern California
www.teamsc3.com
forums.teamsc3.com
