I have seen an aftermarket passenger side arm rest for 99
and up CRV's. I have a 98. Will this work or are there seat
changes?

The 97&98's are different (material). Check out this link:

I purchased and installed one over a year ago in my '97, and my wife

I have a 2000 but I was told that their was no changes in the seats except
for the leather & cloth

over a year - you might try negotiating a lower price with them. Installation
is actually much easier than I expected, just take it slow and think your
way through.
