What the heck is that blank underneath the passenger door handle on the
inside of the door. It looks like a blank for a button/switch of some sort
but seems to be in a rather awkward spot if it is. Anybody have any ideas?

If it bothers you Renee...pop it and see what's underneath. From my
past experience in my old truck it's usually a cover for a fastner.
