Hello Folks,

This is my first post. We have a 2002 Honda Odyssey which has recently developed a problem. The engine RPMs oscillate between 1000 and 2000 while the car is parked and engine running (for example warming up in the morning). The oscillations continue even after 10 minutes of warm-up and stepping on the acceleration peddle (don't what else to do). The weather has been cold (single digits in the morning). To my knowledge this has not happened before. Any ideas, solutions would be appreciated.

This is a known problem. It can be caused by a broken wire. It took one hour of labor to repair my wiring and it was fixed. Glad I had it done, much nicer now, smooth.

Does it have to do with the Idle Air Control motor. Hook it up to a scanner and make sure it's within parameter
