I just got a 2001 CRV LX and had the Honda security system added. Is
there a way to connect the box so that the option button will pop open the
rear hatch? Thanks in advance!

if there is a rear hatch button then they should have done that during the
install. don't let them charge you extra if they screwed up.

Are you holding the option button for atleast 10-15
seconds, and rather close to the window? My Honda
security system opens the glass hatch, but I do have
to hold it quite long. If that doesn't work I would
definitely take it back. It should be part of the
remote.

Greg,

Thanks!! That was it, I just wasn't holding it in long enough. What's
funny is my wife asked the service rep when she had her Accord in and they
said it wouldn't work on the LX :-)

See my other post, they did, I wasn't smart enough to hold it in long
enough to pop the hatch :-)

Thanks for the help!!
