Since I started the whole oil change thing yesterday, I might as well
finish it.

Went to the dealer today and got a free oil change with 5W30 oil at
no charge. Got the SWC kit which is required for the extended
warranty on the engine. (Didn't get a free wash though. I was hoping
for that since it just rained and snowed in the last few days here).

I was at 4,600 miles on the change and discussed with the dealer why
they suggest 3,500 miles for an oil change and Honda says 10,000
miles. They responded by telling me each dealership can
make "suggestions" for oil changes and other service on their own. I
think I will wait for 10,000 miles to role around for the next
change. I did 4,600 miles in about 2 1/2 months.
