I bought my 2007 Odyssey last November and I am not very impressed already because I only put on about 4 KM and I had to bring to the Dealer's shop a few times already. First time they had to change the strut as they said it was leaking because it was making noise when I turned left. I bought it in the second time as it is still making a small noise when I turn left slowly again. The noise is not consistent though and they said they could not find out anything wrong. Took the test drive with the foreman and he said he found nothing wrong with it and there was nothing he could not do. (: Now, I have to bring it in again for a wheel alignment. Not sure if anyone has these same problem.

I bought a couple new vehicles from Toyota before I've never experienced any of these things before.

Don't think, I will buy anything from Honda again. I was thinking of calling Honda Canada to express my unsatisfaction but not sure where to call.

Well, I can't speak for the 07s, but I got my 95 Honda Odyssey brand new in March of 1996, and it's run almost flawlessly since then, needing only minor things up until about 2 years ago. Even then, the problems I've had haven't been catastrophic. And I've put 207,000 miles on the darn thing, so it's not like they don't make a quality product.

Or could it just be that they *used* to make a quality minivan? Mine is, after all, 12 years old.

Some friends of ours bought a Toyota Sienna in 05 or 06 (new) and they had nothing but trouble with it from the beginning. There was something wrong with the struts. Then the tires turned up defective in some way. Then they were driving around with the "Check Engine" light for a while - no diagnosis. It all go sorted out eventually. So sometimes you just get unlucky.

Another friend of ours had a really bad experience with his Hyundai Santa Fe. He started with the local seller and called his way all the way to the regional offices. I imagine all dealerships have a regional Headquarters. That's who you want to talk to. Call a main Honda Customer service line and ask for the number for your regional Honda Offices. Then harrass them until you get what you want.
