I had a wonderful NOS system on a '76 monte carlo that I used to run the 1/4 with( I won't mention the time here) I also know that I went through a 454 big block about every 30,000 miles mostly due to this system, made all sorts of things happen, high engine temps, bad carbon burns, it actually caused me to destroy the car little by little. As for a toyota, the engines are already high RPM engines and usually run a little hot anyway, so if you want to have your car last about 30% of what it should go ahead and go for the NOS, personally I'd stay away from it.

I have read some info about NOS, and all i know is that it doesn't work that well under a auto tran. and with the kinda money you have to pay for NOS, there are other things or parts out there just do as well, sometime even better.

It's relativley inexpensive for the gains in hp thus its popular, but I hope your not doing this to your daily driver. The potential for transmission damage is great if you are over aggressive with your application. Consider a supercharger if you must have a lot of hp without too much effort. It is a lot safer for your car.
