My ride was pummeled last night by evil hail. Normally I keep her garaged, but now I think I need to get a cover for situations where I am away from home overnight.

Any recommendations?

Thanks
Jose

they have this new unit out that costs between 400 and 900.00. you unzip it and lay it flat, drive your car onto it, zip it up and plug it in. it then fills this type of shell with air and keeps your car protected with a large air bubble. they work great and can keep a 10lb sledge hammer from hitting a vehicle even with a powerful hit.

No suggestions, just had to mention that I am sorry to hear about that. I was stuck in a tornado last summer and my car was bombarded with hail the size of golf balls. I know how frustrating that is. Hope you find a cure for your baby!

i got one from wal-mart for about 50 bucks i believe. it worked great against the hail storm that happened last winter. some trees iced and a few larger limbs fell on it but it had no scratches or dents. i was quite pleased (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I have the NOAH car cover for my 540 and am fairly happy with it. I used it a lot last year at school but this year I have not had it on once thanks to my garage:biggrin: . It does shed water and it does breath well. The only problem I seemed to have with mine was with white foggy sections on my car when I took the cover off. I think these were just from some moisture or humidity that got trapped inside the cover. Also, make sure that you use the strap at the bottom of the cover as it is not fun to chase down a car cover in the wind. Trust me, I know from experience. The NOAH is also actually quite thick so it does prevent minor dings from occuring. But it dries fast and is easy to fold up into the supplied carrying case. Hope this helps you out.
