i was very fortunate to be able borrow a friend's
S2000 for a few days. drove it, loved it. this car
(like someone else who mentioned this) is truly a
driver's car, not some luxo roadster. i don't particularly
enjoy the wind noise at high speeds or the lack of
insulation from vibration and road noise, and i must say
that the rear "window" leaves much to be desired.
however, as a weekend/fun/third car in a children-less
household, the S2000 fits the bill perfectly. i commute 80
miles a day in LA (total of about 3 hours worth of stop
and go, middle finger extending, window rolling up
and down cursing traffic jam), and though i got
plenty of admiring stares, the noise will drive you
crazy after a while. but if you want to put a smile on
your face when you drive, just savagely thrust the car
into a 8500+ RPM rage and watch everything around you
go by.

i love the S2000, but i'm waiting on
the next prelude, which i heard will be based on the
S2000. hopefully honda will end this front wheel drive
nonsense on their sports coups and get with the program.
everyone knows FF cars can't corner at all (i'm talking
about stock, non-modified cars).
