Hello, I am a newbie to this group and to Acuras. I took delivery on a 2002 TL 3.2 Type "S" yesterday, a black beauty which is everything I imagined it would be. Man, do I love this car! But since it is a used car there are a couple of questions and issues I have to take care of and I thought I would post to this group in hopes of getting better answers and advice from people more experienced than I am in Acura ownership. Issue No.1: I am in need of a bra for my car. Can anyone recommend a bra "brand" to buy (and how to buy one) which protects the car for freeway stones, bugs, empty coffee cups, and other flying objects. I am going to be driving this car from San Francisco to Oregon fairly regularly. Anyone who has driven up the Sacramento Valley in the summer knows about the profusion of bugs which can really raise hell with the finish on cars...particularly black ones...I would like to also protect the side view mirrors as well. This is going to be a serious problem if I am not proactive in protecting the paint. Issue No.2: My Nav system came w/o the needed CD to run it. Other than going to an Acura dealer, are there options in terms of what and where to buy this CD? I have no idea how the darn thing works at this point. I have heard that you can buy various types of CD's (lower 48 states or state specific CD's, for example). Issue No.3 There was no Owners Manual in the glove box! Don't ask me where it went. I have no idea and neither does the guy who sold the car to me. He suggested going to Acura to buy one. I think that going into a dealership for anything other than to use the rest room is an exercise in wool fleecing. Basically, I hate them. Does anyone have an "extra" 2002 TL owner's manual they want to sell? At this point, I barely can turn on the headlights. I have no idea how to operate anything but the most basic features of this autombile. Can't even set the damned clock! Other than the above, I am completely satisified. The TL 3.2 Type "S" is a heck of ride. I'll be participating in this group in the future, for sure. You all seem like nice people!! Bob Burns Belmont, CA

The CD version is not even for the 1999 model. Its called the Hard Disk, and it doesn't look like a CD at all.
