I have a 1993 Civic DX Hatchback. I took it to get the tires rotated the other day and the mechanic told me that the treads were separating. He said that the shocks might be causing the tires to wear more and could "feel" the separation. I plan to take it to get fixed but I am low on funds for a couple of weeks. How dangerous is it to drive in this condition? I drive the freeway everyday from Torrance, CA to downtown LA and plan a little trip to Ventura next week. Will it be okay?
